RLSCB logoWe work closely with Reading Local Safeguarding Children Board (LSCB) to ensure that children and young people are safeguarded from harm. RCVYS represents the views and safeguarding needs of the voluntary, community and faith sector on Reading LSCB.

Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)

Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS)The Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) helps employers make safer recruitment decisions and prevent unsuitable people from working with vulnerable groups, including children. It replaces the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) and Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA).
