Reading Children’s Trust brings together a wide range of partners from different organisations to oversee and co-ordinate partnership work with children, young people and families in Reading. Reading Children’s Trust Board agrees the joint priorities that we all work towards to improve the outcomes for children, young people and families. These priorities form the basis of the Children and Young People’s Plan. These priorities are monitored on a quarterly basis through the Children’s Trust Board, and is reviewed every 3 years.

RCVYS represents the views of the voluntary, community and faith (VCF) sector on the Reading Children’s Trust, and seeks to highlight local priorities and targets that affects the sector. RCVYS also draws on its knowledge of the VCF sector in Reading to indicate which VCF groups are working in particular areas and subsequently contributing to certain priorities and targets.
Elected RCVYS Representatives sit on the Trust Board, and a number of different sub-groups. A list of these can be found here.
