Safeguarding Children Training

2017 Courses

RCVYS is leading a partnership of Voluntary Sector support organisations RLSCB logoworking together with Reading Local Safeguarding Children Board (LSCB) to deliver a programme of Safeguarding Children Training for the Voluntary Sector in Reading throughout 2016. The partnership includes:

  • Reading Children’s & Voluntary Youth Services (RCVYS)
  • Reading Voluntary Action (RVA)
  • Alliance for Cohesion and Racial Equality (ACRE)
  • Reading Trustee Network (RTN)
  • Reading Early Years Providers Forum (REYPF)
  • Barnabas Fellowship of Churches

This training programme builds on the success of previous safeguarding training courses we’ve run, and brings together various different courses to provide a comprehensive programme to better equip the local Voluntary Sector to improve their safeguarding policies, procedures and practice. This will help to ensure that children, young people and families are safe, and that support can be offered quickly to those that need it most.

These courses are open to all Voluntary Sector organisations,
