RCVYS is working with Berkshire Youth to deliver Emergency First Aid at Work training, which can be arranged for your organisation or group.
About the course
The course is aimed at those persons who will be working with young people in the work place. It is recommended as the minimum requirement for all youth workers and those employed in environments for young people.
All successful participants will receive an approved Level 2 First Aid at Work certificate, which is valid for three years.
The Course includes all the elements of the Emergency First Aid at Work Course, with additional specific elements related to children. This course is fully accredited at Level 3. The course content includes:
- Responsibilities and reporting
- Dealing with an unresponsive casualty
- Minor injuries
- Assessment of the situation
- Wounds and bleeding
- Anaphylaxia and Shock
* This is NOT the Ofsted 2 day Paediatric First Aid Course, but if you are interested in this we can arrange it for you.
