RCVYS provides representation on a wide range of different partnership committees, forums and groups. These include groups within Reading Children's Trust, Reading's Voluntary Sector, and several other groups.

RCVYS Representatives are elected by our Members at our AGM every year, and the results are ratified by The Forum (Reading's Voluntary Sector Forum) at their AGM, along with their own representatives. This ratification provides RCVYS Representatives with the mandate to represent the whole of the VCF sector in their dual role as a Forum Voice. RCVYS Representatives are not paid to carry out their roles, although they can claim for expenses.

One of the most important aspects of effective representation is to ensure that RCVYS Representatives share information and developments with the groups that they're representing, and to enable Members to provide their views on these issues.

This section of the RCVYS website enables that process to happen.
